Review on πŸ—‘οΈ Rubbermaid Dual Stream Waste and Recycling Undercounter Wastebasket 2 Pack, Blue and Black - 9.4 Gallon by Mandy Jones

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like the idea behind it, but the bags are hard to come by.

I have to deduct a star because while I would have liked a smaller bin with easy/convenient to find pockets for it. I couldn't find her. The 13 gallon bags seem to be more popular than the 8 gallon bags - hence my problems. But anyway, I love the fact that this bag has clasps that keep the bag in place - very handy, especially as I used 13g bags for this 8g jar. It claims to be great for grocery bags, but it really isn't. First the bags are stretched to fit in this basket. This means that you do not put the bag over the opening of the garbage can. As the bag stretches - I would say you can see that it only covers 2/3 of the bin, if at all. Thus there is space between the bag and the container. So be careful where you throw things, otherwise they might end up in the middle - FUCK! To me, that means extra cleaning, which defeats the purpose of tossing a plastic bag in the trash. Looking back and knowing what I know now, I think I would have bought the 13 gallon instead. I think it would be a much more practical purchase.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • is embarrassing
