🗑️ Rubbermaid Dual Stream Waste and Recycling Undercounter Wastebasket 2 Pack, Blue and Black - 9.4 Gallon Review

I ordered this container to replace a 5 gallon Rubbermaid container (I think). I lined it with plastic bags that fit perfectly. It's slightly larger, requires store-bought plastic bags, and the snap handles don't hold. They just came off, so I left them. Waste of money buying this as a replacement.

As expected - excellent quality and design from Rubbermaid. They fit perfectly on either side of all the pipes under my sink and eliminate the need for trash cans elsewhere in my tiny kitchen. I carefully measured the space before ordering and they are exactly what I expected. I am considering a smaller version for the sink.

This bin is a little smaller than I expected. However, it is still usable and works well in small or tight spaces. It is also a good sized bin for reusing plastic bags as bin liners/liners. The color was exactly what I was looking for and the bin is thick and durable. 1 star deducted only because of the small size.

I like the fold down hole on the side of the bin because you don't have to pull everything out so tossing things in the bin is easy and clean. Only criticism is that it would be better if 1 container was the size of 2 together and sold in 1 package. I bought them for apartment living and mainly to keep the litter out of my toddler's hands. The bags need to be changed daily as they fill up too quickly due to the thin size of the jar.

These are fairly sturdy bins for the money and have a hole in the back edge for wall mounting, but they are too big for what needs to fit under your worktop or kitchen sink. They don't fit under my kitchen sink at all, and my cabinets are typical. By the way, I checked everything again, but they don't have sizes, and the pictures show much smaller tanks. Bought to place under new cabinets in our bar to keep dirt and litter out of sight. They are the perfect size "behind the bar", perfect for closets (see product ad for dimensions, I measured before ordering and they fit great). Heavy duty plastic as you would expect for the price and from Rubbermaid. Pin them in the back if you want to secure them. I have to deduct a star because while I would have liked a smaller bin with easy/convenient to find pockets for it. I couldn't find her. The 13 gallon bags seem to be more popular than the 8 gallon bags - hence my problems.
