While the notepad seems well and good, I purchased this product for the notepad holder and that is all I'm commenting on. Despite numerous reviews commenting on its extremely cheap quality, I thought perhaps "Sturdy lightly-grained leatherette" would at least be a cheap vinyl good enough to protect the thin pages of a jr. legal notepad. Its good to use i just bought this the other day.BUT if u have a small car maaann you are out of luck. I have a husky that likes to try to come to the front seat constantly and then jump back(not great ik) but the buckle DOES NOT really HOLD HIM back IN A SMALL CAR like the average 5 seats. he can still reach the front and hover over me BUT TO A CERTAIN EXTENT.
