Review on Samsung LC24F390FHNXZA: 24" Monitor with FreeSync, 60Hz Refresh Rate, and Eco-Friendly Design by Ahmed Daugherty

They are fine but I deducted stars for incorrect warranty information. Before deciding on a monitor, I had a long conversation with Samsung support and they gave me a very short list of monitors that still had a three-year warranty. This model was one. I made a copy of the Samsung product and warranty page and it's clear it's 3 years. So imagine my surprise when I read the papers in the box and it says 1 year there. I hope they don't let them down for 3 years because I'll have "fun" arguing with them about acknowledging the copy of the warranty I used to make my purchase decision. The monitors they replaced lasted 8 years. I wanted to fix the flickering. I called to make sure the parts were available, paid $120, and had them shipped to their repair center as instructed. They said they could fix it. It comes back a few weeks later with no repairs. I was exempted from the fee but I still haven't paid them the $25 shipping fee. This could have been avoided if they could check parts availability before starting the return process. You have no other repair option than replacing circuit boards. There is only 1 board. A kind of "service center". It was probably due to solder joint cracks or a 2 cent component failure. What an inefficient way to know it's unmaintainable.
