Samsung LC24F390FHNXZA: 24" Monitor with FreeSync, 60Hz Refresh Rate, and Eco-Friendly Design Review

I've mostly used it as a second monitor rather than the main monitor, but when it's turned on it makes a sort of high-pitched squeak from time to time. It's not as noticeable when playing a video or something on another screen. I don't know why but it's been like this since I got it and it went through the return window and I already threw the box away so it's too late for me. For some reason the text is a little hard to read (looks thinner?) but that could just be my fault.

I was looking for a 4k curved monitor and this was a perfect fit. When I opened it up I found that there was no Vesa mount to mount it on the monitor stand. I ended up finding a third party adapter that works well but is overpriced. Otherwise the monitor works great. The curved screen is the main reason it costs so much, but even with that, I still think the MSRP is a rip-off. The main thing I don't like is the pixel response time. This is a VA panel notorious for poor response times and this is no different. The claimed response time on almost every monitor is a lie, but this one is a flat lie (I think they say 5ms. This monitor can't be beat for the price. Unlike a traditional TN or IPS monitor, this VA monitor delivers decent contrast and reasonably fast response times (ghosting is unlikely). In addition, the viewing angle is excellent. You can also overclock it to around 70Hz for gaming purposes, which is good enough for most modern games. The only complaint is no sound. Everything is on, nothing is disabled, all drivers are up to date, the system is green and working but absolutely no sound. Windows support can't find a solution either. The last possibility is a bad speaker in the monitor. Otherwise a great product and no complaints.

I end up buying it just to try it and I love it. I decided to switch from CFL lighting to LED lighting. My issue was the sharpness of the LED backlit screens after the previous day. Excellent image quality and brightness. Very happy with the quality I expect from Samsung. The product arrived undamaged and quickly. The only thing I don't like is the stand that comes with it, I wish it was adjustable as it's too short for my liking. Bought for a mid-range gaming monitor and it worked really well. The colors are bright and appealing. Setup was easy, and basically everything is automatically detected by Windows 10 (I wish Device Manager would detect a specific monitor after installing the drivers, but this doesn't affect performance in any way).
