Review on TheraTree Oleavine Neem Oil 12 Oz by Josh Dyer

I first did some research on organic pesticides. Through research, I came across Neem Oil as an effective preventive pesticide. I use it on all my vegetable, plant and flower garden growth; leaves and all. In addition, I spray it on my Meyer Lemon Tree as a preventative from destructive chewing insects. Note: Neem will not harm beneficial insects; only those that are the destructice chewing type. "I also spray my entire orange tree the same way." The Neem helps in many ways. From destructive chewing insects to leaf fungus (this should clear up in 1-2 days) if the fungus is mild to moderate. I've done this with a fairly new tomato plant I had purchased. Several days later I noticed some mild fungus on portions of the leaves. I used the Neem and next morning the fungus was cleared/gone. This one bottle can go a long way. You don't need much IF you're going to use it for gardening purposes. I have mine since February and it's now about about half filled. To use, you can fill one of those hose attached spray bottles (like a miracle gro type). Anywhere between 1-2TBS of Neem oil is usually sufficient to place in the spray bottle. Also include 1/4 TSP dish detergent (not more tgan that), to act as a "surfacant." Shake slightly.then go about using the hose spray bottle and spray away. This will cover quite a bit of area. Neem smell is not that pleasant. This one is not horrible. Maybe I've gotten used to it a bit. Impt: Because it's organic, you can feel confident and use on all your plants and vegetables and herbs. I do and naturally pick and harvest mine. I just give a quick rinse and that's it. I use on my Tomatos, Bell Peppers, Jalapenos, Sweet Basil, Greek Oregano, Rosemary, Spearmint, Cilantro and soon: Eggplant.I hope this review helps.
