The only thing missing from the package is documentation, a hole template and switching bolts. Fortunately, instructions can be found on the Delta website. Everything is included when laying on a tile. However, snap bolts are required for fiberglass and acrylic surfaces. Installation begins by drilling two holes about 26.25 inches apart. The instructions do not give a spacing, instead the bar is positioned to mark the holes. After drilling the holes, the parts are simply connected together. Installation is pretty straightforward and probably easy enough for most DIYers. After installing the pole, the hose can be connected to the water supply. A shower diverter can be used as an option if a fixed shower is also desired. Once installed, the multifunctional hand shower works great. The hand shower is made of plastic, which works great. Although I do worry about plastic strings if I have to replace the fur on my head with a cheap bait cap. I would prefer metal threads to reduce stripping and create leaks. If you are looking for a multifunction handheld shower system, the Delta Faucet 51140-PN Zura H2Okinetic multifunction handheld shower may be the right option for you. The shower head has some nice features, but the plastic strings bother me. However, there shouldn't be a problem if you don't need to modify attachments.
