Review on 🔦 Superior Quality Aurabeam Economy Replacement Lamp with Housing for Sony XL-5200 by Max Guerrero

It's really frustrating (for all Sony PJ TV owners it seems) to find a good quality replacement bulb for the Revain. It seems to be hit and miss no matter the price. This lamp is clearly marked "Made in China" and has much cheaper (and loose) electrical connection hardware. The cables are definitely thinner and less durable than any other spares I've had. However, having only had it for a few hours, the picture is bright and looks as good as any other lamp I've used. Nice. I bought this lamp after the latest expensive replacement from Philips lasted the full 18 days before the reflective coating peeled off and my TV turned off. *UPDATE* This lamp worked as described above but went out about 33 days after installation. The product info says a 6 month warranty so I am currently working on a replacement. Let's see how they react and update the information. *LATEST UPDATE* The company was very responsive and a week later I received a replacement bulb. It worked, but at best it was about 80-90% brighter than previous bulbs. I made the most of most image controls to get an image worth looking at without being blurry. This lamp lasted a month or two and then started chipping to the point that my TV just turned off the picture. I would definitely get at least six months guaranteed lamp usage no matter how much they had to send me. The company replied again and only asked me to send back the second defective lamp with the COD label they provided. The third lamp they sent worked, but soon went out so far it was too uncomfortable to look at. I put in an old lamp I had lying around and it was like a new TV compared to all three lamps that were sent to me. The company was good, but the lamps weren't worth messing with. I'm still looking for a good lamp.
