Bought a 4-camera system about 8 months ago and everything looked fine after the initial installation. Then about 2 months ago, after an incident (where the recorded data was supposed to be useful for law enforcement) outside my house, I went to access my records only to find that no data had been recorded and subsequently found the error with the hard disk. I contacted the manufacturer's support (information is included with the system), but initially received no answer either by phone or email. I had to call several times before someone answered. After that I was told that they would send me a new box for the recorder and that I would have to remove the hard drive from my box and put it in the new box. After waiting for a new box for more than a month, I followed the necessary steps to set up a new box, but faced the same problem! As the cameras originally arrived already paired with the recorder and essentially reset all the settings in the new box, I need to re-pair the cameras already installed in my house. but these cameras don't have an ethernet port (required) to pair my old cameras! At least before the pit change I still had live video (just no recording), now I often crouch!
