I've never used a phoenix connector in either passive or active speakers, and because 1) there was no explanation of how to use them properly without too much to dig, and 2) the lack of a small screwdriver to make this functionality efficient can't help but be disappointing. This is directly related to how this product works and it took me a lot of google to figure out how to connect the two corresponding dormer windows. For each of these unnecessary and slightly unavoidable setbacks I subtract a star.
