Feels like mounting a tilt monitor

I love this stand. I have two collapsible plastic stands that allow you to stand the tablet at an angle, but they place the bottom edge of the tablet right against the table. This stand is very strong and durable, and its bottom edge is raised a few inches off the table for a more comfortable viewing angle. Because the tablet is elevated and the stand has a hole between the two support fingers, you can also connect the charging cable to the iPad vertically from below. Using these collapsible plastic stands doesn't leave room for a connection on the bottom, so I always have to turn the iPad over to place the charging port on top, which also places the home button on top, and the charging cable looks a bit odd from the top. . I use my iPad in landscape mode for a lot of things, but I like portrait mode when reading documents with lots of pages of text. It also comes in handy when reading e-books. I use a Bluetooth keyboard with this stand and the setup is very similar to a standard computer monitor with a tilt and keyboard. I think it's a much more desirable combination than foldable plastic stands or those keyboard case designs. The only downside I see is that it doesn't fold into a smaller profile like plastic coasters do. Not a problem for me as I mainly use it at home. When I travel with it I find that it fits easily in a holdall and I can pack socks and other small items in and around it so it doesn't really take up space. It is strong enough not to bend. I use it with my iPad Pro 10.5, but I think it's on par with almost any tablet. Sometimes I put my iPhone in and it works great too.
