Now that they've renewed both cruisers and diapers, cruisers have the same soft lining but swaddlers fit my son better. My son has really big hips which forced us to upsize sooner than the weight range would suggest. The Cruisers diapers have a tighter leg band that leaves a mark on my son. Elastic diapers are gentler and leave no marks. As for the purges, my son has had them in every brand of diaper he's ever worn. He is breastfed and his stools are thinner than those of a formula-fed infant, even after the introduction of solid foods. The best cure for breakouts seems to be to enlarge the diaper and take the time to adjust the tabs so they are snug but not too tight around your feet. With unusually large stools, of course, that doesn't help either! All in all I liked the diapers best and so I continue to wear them with my 28 pound one year old (size 5!).
