I wanted an airtight baby food container because I was tired of sticking my hand in formula bags (because I don't think the jars they come in are truly airtight). I bought this based on the reviews and I'm really glad I bought it! First, it's really easy to clean, unlike the sealed containers I've bought from other well-known brands in the past... I especially like that the lid can be unscrewed to clean. All parts were easy to clean which made me very happy considering I will be using it for my child. An added bonus was the scoop - it's 1oz - which I really like because the formula packs come with 2oz scoops so it's a bit tricky when you need to make an "odd number" oz bottle ...I know it's 1 oz because I measured it against a scoop of formula and 2 scoops of formula is perfect for the 2 oz top, no additives. The container can hold quite a bit too...the picture shows 20 ounces of the mix.
