I've been using lint rollers for many, many years, ever since I've had cats. It was the only way to get hair out of my furniture, clothes and beds (hers and mine)! Now I don't have any pets, but I still use them every day on my sheets and pillowcases - it's really amazing how much of it comes off - so much that there's no stickiness left on an extra sticky sheet. I'm not a dirty person, but I remember learning somewhere that we "shed" dead skin cells every night, and since I'm OCD I don't want them to build up on my bed until the bedding is washed. I also use them after washing my hair in the shower on a bath mat to get frizzy hair that falls out after brushing (I have very long hair) which is inevitable. The bottom line is, it's not just for pets! The only "negative" comment I have is that some of the bars don't fit perfectly on the grip and the reel tends to slip - other than that they're great!
