Battery not charging
About 3 weeks after I bought the laptop, the battery stopped charging. When disconnected from the mains, the battery discharged as expected. After connecting, the battery stopped discharging; however, it failed to charge; even if the laptop was switched on and off overnight. I also tried different outlets. I created a battery usage report and sent it to MSI along with a description of the problem. They replied that I should send the laptop to them for repair. My wife suggested I send the laptop back instead. So I followed her advice.
