Poor sound quality and gain. I turned the volume all the way up on the phone and on the receiver. It's still not very loud, so there's a lot of noise/interference when you turn on the radio. In addition, the sound sounds like mono from a tin can. However, it works well as a phone charger and isn't worth returning for $15. My 3.5mm cassette adapter sounds much better. Maybe that's because California doesn't have a clear enough channel for broadcasting. I'll keep that handy for my next ride to see if it sounds better off the beaten path. Although I doubt it.
