Not what I expected

I thought it was the kind of pad that would keep your furniture in place, but alas, it's not. These are simply pads that soften and protect your floor if your furniture tends to scratch the floor. I was under the impression that they would help keep my couch from shifting, which is what I need, but they won't, so I guess I'll go shopping again.
