I usually buy wide versions of shoes, but they were not available for this shoe. However, my legs didn't feel too tight and I really liked how secure they were. They were bought for HIIT and weightlifting. Ideal for weightlifting. The problem with these shoes is that they don't have arch support. I liked the overall color and feel of the shoe, enough to hold the shoe but I had to use an insole in the shoe. The pain in the bow is unbearable without her. Also, the "Emaille Blue" color is more aqua/celadon than blue, at least to me. I love love love this color! Generally good shoes. Expect some adjustments if you have trouble with the bow.
