I needed a new pair of comfortable walking shoes, but I wanted something more durable than foam flip flops. So I started looking at Chacos but couldn't stand the thought of spending over $100 on a pair of "ugly sandals" lol. I stumbled across the girls sizes and after reading the reviews I discovered the Chaco's best kept secret. Seriously ladies, we need a show for the world to hear! If you wear women's shoes size 8 or smaller, you can buy a large child size (2 sizes smaller). So if you wear size 8 women's shoes, buy a big kid size 6.7 = big kid size 5.6 = big kid size 4. I wear a women's size 6.5 wide and have a fairly wide foot. So I doubted if they would fit me. After reading many reviews I decided on size 5. They fit great (actually I have a bit more room in my toes) I will definitely buy them again! So if you are a half size I would go up, not down. If you are skeptical about buying a child size, go to your nearest sporting goods store and try on a pair! Why pay full price for something you can buy for half price?
