Review on Unveiling the Topo Athletic Women's Ultrafly 3: Breathable Road Running Shoes Offering Optimal Performance by Trevor Rodke

I wanted to try the Topo Ultrafly 3 because it sounds like the perfect running shoe for my feet. A roomy toe box with a secure midfoot and heel is the perfect mix of medium and wide width footwear. I also appreciate the 5mm drop compared to the zero drop found on other wide toe running shoes. I ordered my normal shoe size (1/2 size larger than my normal shoe size) and felt they fit my feet and have room for swelling. They offer adequate arch support and slight stability with easy pronation. There is no excess padding, but the shoes are sensitive to footsteps. My only complaint was that the shoes I received were not "new in the box". I bought from Revain because Topo didn't have these shoes in my size. The first thing I noticed was that the soles of the boots (particularly the right boot) were dirty and obviously street worn. (See photos taken right out of the box.) I didn't notice any signs of wear on the soles, insoles or shoes, so I decided to keep them. You are expected to purchase shoes that have been tried on and taken for a walk around the block at your local running store. But I didn't expect that from an online shop, especially since I had to wait another week for the shoes to be back in stock before they were shipped. (Where back in stock?) Overall I am happy with the shoes and look forward to the next opportunity to try Topo Recovery shoes!
