Compatible with laptop hard drives and all conventional 2.5 " SSDs
Required to transfer some data from one device ( laptop (in my case). It worked great and I was able to successfully transfer it from my laptop's hard drive to an SSD. I had to do this without a big Effort transferred - glad it worked. Good!
