It slipped through without a fight, the drive provided works great in my experience, I know I've seen some other reviewers come across non-working drives so I have just in case I have the original on hand if it fails prematurely. But it definitely solved the horrible noise I was having with 4WD. It was NOT easy to get there but blame the engineers! I suggest replacing the CV axis as well. Mine got stuck in the old block as the old block bearing was bad. Not a big deal as I already bought the CV axle because mine was bad. I managed to unscrew all 4 screws holding it (there are only 4 screws holding the device, the other 4 are for the case), just lift your new device and see where the screws are are on the new unit and not on the old unit and you can see which screws should come out! Much luck!
