Review on Enhance Your Audio Experience with the YAMAHA YAS-109 Sound Bar: Built-In Subwoofers, Bluetooth, and Alexa Voice Control Included by Amit Kumar ᠌

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The disappointment is complete, the product is not at all what I imagined.

All of the above problems make the YAMAHA YAS-109 device an expensive and useless sound box, to which it is not clear how to output sound so that it is not associated with some kind of daily dancing with a tambourine. Remain digital spdif and simply analog. I will try. The only hope that "everything broke" was the last ate, which offered me to download the application for the phone, after a couple of days of use. If so, then there is hope that the problems will be fixed by the new firmware, but I would not bet on it. The verdict, I was led by the good reviews of Market users and threw out 20 thousand on a useless device.

Pros
  • YAMAHA brand
Cons
  • 1. I read the comments and honestly expected more from the sound. In fact, it turned out that the sound is slightly better than that built into the xiaomi mitv 5 TV. At a volume below average, it’s hard to notice the difference. Perhaps these are my high expectations from YAMAHA. I do not like. 2. HDMI ARC is buggy in conjunction with xiaomi mitv 5 again after being idle in the off state (2-3 hours). Moreover, on / off from the remote control does not help, you just have to turn off the YAMAHA from the outlet, wait a couple of seconds and turn it back on, after that, lo and behold, the ARC connection is established and you can control the volume from the TV remote control. And so every day! And if the sound can somehow be explained by my initially overestimated expectations, then these distortions of power in a squat while waiting for HDMI ARC to work, this is generally out of the way. 3. When I realized that HDMI ARC is not about this device, I decided to connect TV via Bluetooth, maybe at least that way I won’t have to turn the power supply every evening in a respectful bow before this miracle of technology. But here is a new surprise, via Bluetooth our soundbar is not seen by the TV, after a couple of restarts, turning it off and on, the device appeared in the list, but all connection attempts were not successful. The same from a phone, the same from a laptop, etc. Although I remember that when I connected the soundbar on the first day, I immediately checked the Bluetooth connection and there were no problems.
