I use oxygen absorbers regularly and try to order only what I need for a few months so they don't sit around and lose hmm. But here's what happened to these guys. Oxygen scavengers should be kept for about 6 months from the time the package is opened when properly stored. At 6 weeks, mine completely shot itself. I put them in dry food jars and carefully store the unused OA in the smallest airtight glass container. I quickly open it, pull out what I need and close the jar to keep it fresh. Maybe I need to do something else to keep them fresh? But to be honest, they didn't seem that strong at first. I'm trying another source.
