Review on Crown Automotive 4723367MK Brake Shoe by Jason Chaplain

I bought this kit to overhaul the rear brakes on my 2000 XJ Sport. As far as I can tell, it fits perfectly; This is my first time making my own rear brakes. There were some extras in this kit that weren't needed for my XJ (maybe other years might need them. I don't know) - a set of oval springs (black) that were really big (not shown in the picture), a couple of thin curved washers (you can see them in the picture), a set of U-shaped washers (you can see in the picture) and 1 (yes, 1) oval spring (which you can see right in the middle). the picture - why is 1 something required as it is a kit for both sides so everything should be in sets of 2. good thing I didn't need it). The bad part is that it doesn't come with the key lock spring visible in the attached photo. It's really idiotic not to provide this spring in the kit; Kit is not complete. The fact that I replaced everything but the key spring with new hardware and had to reuse the old one really doesn't sit well with me; and to replace this spring you will have to disassemble everything since it is installed first. It's a shame, otherwise I would have given this set 5 stars.
