Facilitates emptying the gray bin if done responsibly and carefully.

As most motorhomes know the gray tank needs to be emptied a lot more often than the black and this cap makes it easier to empty the gray tank through a regular water hose. As long as you pay close attention to what goes into the gray tank (no chemicals, antibacterial soaps, etc.) and use a drain strainer to catch any leftover food, it won't harm the environment. We used Walex Elemonate bags when the trailer was parked at a mountain construction site and there was no smell and the gray water didn't attract animals.
