I love taking this with me on a hike. I've used it at home as a try out blanket and so far I like it. I had no problem identifying the basic configurations, although I watched a few videos before purchasing. He's heavier than I thought. it would be, but it's nice. Compared to the Klymit Versa (pictured), it is about the same thickness but more than twice the weight. However, it is larger and has more features. That's just a few centimeters smaller than a double blade. The build looks good. The clasps are not too loose and not too tight. The zippers are quite loose but don't bind or pinch. The color looks great. Very soft material, hood lined with fleece, but the rest is almost like a sleeping bag material. I was able to compress it into a 6 liter compression bag with some difficulty and was then able to compress it quite well compared to other duvet covers, but it's still very heavy. compared to other. It might not be the best option for hiking, but it's great for car camping or short trips. The straps on the top and bottom of the hammock feel a bit uncomfortable in a sleeping bag configuration. I wasn't expecting the straps to be so heavy and thick but I think they should be. Withhold judgment until I try to sleep with the bag configuration. This seems to work best with a poncho, sleeping bag, and duvet cover configuration. I looked at the price for it and was able to buy it on sale so I think it's a good deal for a pretty good multifunction product. However, one of the latches is behind the hood, so there is no way to attach it to the bottom edge. This means it sags/sags where the hood is, but that doesn't seem like a big deal. - Full poncho - very tall and short people may have trouble sanding the floor (I will have trouble with corners) - Hood lined with fleece (aka soft and warm). The zipper for the bag/pillow configuration is just behind your neck/shoulder and I was afraid it would chafe or scratch. Definitely fasten it, otherwise it won't be noticed. Maybe it can be uncomfortable with bare skin or a tank top. - You can't close it with the buttons from the front because they don't face each other at the top edge. Sleeping bag - I'm 5ft 8in tall. , and in the photo you can see me standing in a bag and raising my hand above my head. The bag is long and quite roomy. Yes, the zipper ends about 20cm from the top edge, but that's not too unusual and it was still closed up to my chin. The hood tucks into a pocket inside one side of the bag. I would leave that side up, otherwise it may come loose and become uncomfortable. The zipper is very loose to unzip, it doesn't take much movement. However, if you're worried, you can use buttons to prevent the zipper from opening in certain places. Perhaps you could use suspenders for the hammock configuration to tighten the bag's head and legs. Night temperatures are below 55-60 degrees. The hammock is a really small hammock that I had about 6 inches from my feet to the end and less than a foot above my head - I DO NOT RECOMMEND using it as a hammock for sleeping or in general if you are over 6 feet tall . - The straps are decent. They have loops for attaching carabiners, adjusting the length, or attaching additional straps. They're also no less than 5 feet long when tightened, so not really long enough to use without additional straps unless , your trees are very close (you need a tree/branch at least 6 inches in diameter, which takes 2.5 feet of that length). Eno Helios knitted bands are very light and small. You'll need to buy your own carabiners (at least two) to use as a hammock (buy good ones, rated at over Β£300). No matter how well you think you've tightened it, it will get even tighter when you put weight on it. I uncovered the black side as it had a zipper and thought it would be more convenient to have it on the outside edge than the inside. It also places a hood and a pocket on the outside. Most camping hammocks are significantly longer, more comfortable, and MUCH lighter. But it has multifunctional uses. Because it's thicker, you probably won't need an underblanket in moderate to warm weather and can do without a sleeping bag or outer blanket, making the pack a bit smaller. is ideal for an underquilt. Not sure up to what temperature but when I tried it was hot. Use a top blanket or sleeping bag and you should be really good. - I was able to close it on myself with the buttons (you can't use the zipper) - I attached the hammock straps to the carabiner for my hammock to keep the bottom blanket from slipping off. You can use ribbons or small carabiners to close the loops on the ends so it fits snugly to the hammock (as pictured) or if you're thinking of doing this before installation (trial and error, unlike me ), if you tie at the ends you can tie the straps around the hammock or pull the hammock up to keep it closed. I have a very long hammock so it may look weird but my Eno Amber from bf did the same. It just has to fit where you lie in the hammock. Pillow - too soft and a bit lumpy - if you have straps with suspenders around the edges it's uncomfortable so make sure you have them in the middle when you pack it. Don't try to fold it back, I'll just stuff it in. Nobody has time for this folding - more than expected. Cover with earth - I haven't tried it, but it's true. What else can you try? It will probably work just fine. Canopy - I haven't tried it, I don't think I'll bother. If I want a tarp, I have a tarp. In any case, I wouldn't want to drag rope and poles with me. - Do not use as water/weather protection, this is for shading only.
