Review on πŸ’¨ Efficient Cooling and Illumination: Casablanca Stingray Indoor Ceiling Fan with LED Light and Remote Control by James Richardson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Looks like he might attack. If that sounds cool, then this fan is for you!

I've replaced all my ceiling fans since I moved in, mostly with Hunter Fan Casablanca fans. They're all great, but this one is even better. There's no crappy "remote fan module" that you have to plug in and somehow shove into a tiny space in the ceiling. It has built-in remote control capabilities. There is an LED light at the bottom and although it looks small it is actually a very bright and warm soft light. One of my other ceiling fans (not Casablanca) emits an intense, glaring glow that makes me feel like I'm being interrogated. Just not this one. Fan blades aren't just for beauty. The center directs air straight down, while the large vanes direct it outwards, but not too far. This thing is very efficient at pushing air out. Looks. It's not a fan that will blend into the background. He looks a lot like the aliens from the video game Prey, and they're not meant to look warm and fuzzy. It looks like he might attack. I like it. Make sure you do the same before ordering. It was more difficult to install than most fans. It was nice not having to mess with a remote module, but since the fan blades don't have visible screws, it means you have to hold up the blade assembly while trying to insert screws you can't actually see. I recommend two people. I got through this by adding an extra day and bourbon. Not necessarily in that order. One of the few fans - or something like that - that I would give a full five stars. It is wonderful and absolutely commendable. Sean Logue, 2018
