This is an excellent cable in terms of price/video quality for which I am grateful. The quality of the cable seems to be as good as the more expensive HDMI fiber optic cables I've used. I've used them at 50-100ft and unfortunately the audio return channel doesn't work beyond 50ft. The CEC control works and turns on the receiver together with the TV, but does not transmit the sound from the TV back to the receiver reliably or at all. I have to say that I am a professional audio video integrator with a lot of experience. I tried different brands, some are almost 4 times more expensive. I tried powering the HDMI amplifier on both sides of the cable. The cable direction was correct and checked. I've come to the conclusion that this is incredible for long video transfers, but you also need an optical audio cable for audio.
