I use this for the 14-42 EZ lens that came with my OMD EM10 Mark 2 camera. You don't have to worry about losing the lens cap, and you don't have to worry about forgetting to put the cap on and risking scratching the lens. And you're more likely to snap a shot in time when the moment is fleeting because you just turn on the camera and shoot. This eliminates the intermediate step of removing the lens cap and storing it somewhere. Sure, it's only a second or two, but there are times when it makes the difference between a good shot and a bad shot. But most of all I just LOVE the convenience and wish they made a cap like this. for each of my lenses.
