I bought these headphones, along with two close friends who share my love of music, despite the fact that they were excessively pricey. I did not notice a large group of people clustering around anyone set of headphones where I was. Typically, they will listen to anything produced by a Senhi, Sonya, Bose, or any other Chinese consumer brand. But, I have found what I believe to be the pinnacle of headphones here. All genres of music are faithfully recreated with no distortions. You may listen to anything from vintage rock to the latest in electronica with these headphones. The bass is perfect; it's deep and strong without being overbearing. The top is gently pinched without being overly tight. The floor of the stage is fully transparent (although this depends more on the amplifier, I use a Fiio Olympus 2 with these headphones, ideal for the money for these headphones). Wooden covers complete the acoustic picture by adding warmth and muffled pitch. Everyone has their own tastes, but this arrangement suits me just fine. If you're a writer who finds high-impedance headphones uncomfortable, I recommend adjusting the sound path with an amplifier made for such headphones.
