They're good for connecting Internet radio to things like Bose Wave Radio and other audio devices to get stereo sound from different directions. This gives the effect of a live performance. This setup is way better than any system where the sound comes from a single point. It feels like quality headphones without the inconvenience of blocking out other noise and with something on your head or in your ears. Grace Digital Internet Radio has an RCA output. One of them is connected to the Bose Wave radio on one side and to the Grace digital internet radio on the other side. The stereo sound coming from left and right simultaneously is AWESOME! Of course, there are ways to wirelessly transmit audio signals between devices. But it can get quite complex and all parts of the system need to be able to do it.
