I bought these for my son who normally wears Youth Large in the Champion. You wear a little big for him. I also didn't know it wasn't cotton material, that it was sweatpants (my fault) so I don't know if he would wear them anyway. He says he likes her but I think he's just saying it because he thinks it will hurt my feelings.
