I like the product very much, fully consistent with my expectations.

After mounting the TV, initial concerns about its stability have dissipated. Because LG's TV has bolt holes in a non-standard location, I had to file the lower ears down so they wouldn't protrude below the screen. Even if someone else isn't picky, protruding features bother me.

Pros

Rotation, panning, and swiveling modifications. Strong steel (double-checked; see comments for details), solid construction, and a reasonable weight give this bracket little trouble holding a 55-inch TV. The flexibility of the mount. Rear panel wiring connections. The dowels and bolts are guaranteed to last.
