This purse served me well on a long trip to the east coast. I need a secure wallet that won't get lost, dropped or stolen. The leather of the wallet is very heavy and the chain is quite good. A leather buttonhole that attaches to a belt or belt loop is made of much thinner leather but works well. I would give 5 stars if this leather was more durable. I've seen it wear out after a long period of regular use. The wallet itself offers enough space for paper money and a few credit cards and ID cards. The buttons on the wallet are very durable. You don't have to worry about that at all with every unexpected opening. The stitching on the wallet feels solid and I expect the wallet itself will last for many, many years of everyday use.
