Bought to use on my Yamaha fz1 for my daily commute to work and anything else I need when I'm living. In the mornings I pack it with a lunch box and thermos and on the way home I fill it with my gear for cold weather riding etc. I also filled it with groceries and a laptop. I haven't tried waterproof yet. They're selling a rain fly for him, but it's not included. I think the zippers might end up being the weak link as they felt rough from day one. I don't usually drive with a map case and it's a lot bigger than it needs to be. When the map pocket is removed, there's a silly flap you think should be Velcro, but doesn't it blow in the wind? I bought and installed Velcro to stop this. The magnets are really strong but there aren't any in the middle so the valves don't touch the tank as much when the bag is really full. You need four more magnets in the middle. I would also like to see a place to attach the elastic. I can recommend this tank bag
