My device is defective and I'm pretty sure it's the USB cable. USB works fine one way but keeps disconnecting when connectors are swapped. This SSD enclosure is much faster than my other one. I will leave this negative feedback until customer service contacts me. Don't let this rating put you off. This is the best chipset for USB 3.0 enclosures. Hopefully when I get a new device the cable will work. If not, I'll just replace it with a quality cable. The cable is of better quality. Edit: Replaced by single. The new device works perfectly. Confirmed that the cable is really bad. The company never contacted me (not that I wouldn't rule it out). Revain has great customer service and was quick to replace the unit.
