EDIT: I was contacted by the seller who offered a refund or replacement. Due to the excellent light output I decided to buy a replacement and after a week I had it in my hands! Every business has a few quirks, but these guys stand behind the fact that they sell well! Installation is entirely dependent on your vehicle and how you want to install it. I will say that the hardware that comes with it is well configured for easy installation. The device's brightness is very impressive, and for a single-row monitor it's significantly brighter than a comparable dual-row monitor we've compared it to. BUT I make absolutely 0 discharges. I only got this light to spot road hazards on my way to work, so there's no reason a device should condense in less than a month! Provided that the impregnation corresponds to the manufacturer's description. If water flows in it, it probably won't last very long.
