Review on πŸŽ₯ ANDYCINE C7 Field Camera Monitor 7” 2200nits 1920x1200 Touch Screen - Complete Kit for Sony, Canon, Fujifilm, Panasonic, BMPCC Cameras by Adam Townsend

The brightness is insane!

Basically I wanted this monitor to be able to be used for framing/exposure while filming myself with the Sony A7III. My camera doesn't have a folding screen, so it's difficult to check focus when shooting and composing. The touchscreen responds very well. Reminds me of my iPhone. The ability to swipe up from the bottom to activate the menu is also a handy feature. This monitor is much sharper than the back of my camera and uses a 4k input for display. The A7III is notorious for not having the best screen and viewfinder resolution, but the C7 helps a lot when it comes to checking focus. I like the 180 degree swivel feature. This allows you to shoot both in front of and behind the camera. The camera has a function to rotate the display vertically so that everything is correct in front of the camera. The main reason I chose this monitor is because I live in Alaska and winters can be very bright when everything is closed. with snow. It tolerates bright sun very well!

Pros
  • 2200 cd/mΒ² Super Bright --- The 1920 x 1200 native resolution screen displays crisp and accurate colors. The brightness of 2200 nits is almost 4 times brighter than traditional field monitors. Can be viewed in strong sunlight and outdoors without a sunshade.
