The best 7 " monitor for the price.

Excellent for outdoor shooting with excellent brightness levels. The size makes it easier to see the frame and ensure everything is in focus. The monitor gets very hot when it is set to 100% I tested it at full power for 30 minutes and it felt quite hot but kept working.

Budget Monitor - Video Studio

Bright monitor! I had to set it to minimum but it works great. functionality appearance and quality. The screen does get warm for a while, but that's to be expected. It comes with a micro HDMI to HDMI connector to allow gun cameras to check the gate. The packaging is really great and comes with a nice mesh bag. Overall, the cost, quality, and design make it a really good affordable budget option.

This monitor offers much more than the price.

I bought this monitor because it was 7 inch and touch screen. I have an Atomos Shinobi with a smaller touch screen. Wanted a bigger screen for my 6K film camera to be able to focus better. This monitor has helped me with that and more. I'm just shocked at the price and quality. When filmmakers find out about this "budget" monitor, they'll be swept off the shelves once again. Highly recommended!

Great monitor, bad power supply

I give the monitor itself 5 stars. Nice picture, great features, thoughtful menu. I have monitors that cost many times more and this monitor is not far behind. The power supply, on the other hand, is not very good and I give it 1 star. If I run the monitor at over 50% brightness for a few minutes, the power supply gets very hot and often fails. This allows me to adjust my recordings and then dim the screen by up to 5% while recording. Not perfect. I need to find the best source and that will be

Andycine works great with my Canon XA55 camcorder and GoPro Hero 9

I only have photos from Canon XA55 camcorders, not GoPro Hero 9. But now I love my cameras even more and this 7 inch field monitor Andycine has it my really improved studio experience. At first I thought this idea had failed and I couldn't get Andycine to work properly. But I finally found out. I also use a 14" GMK monitor with great success on both of the cameras mentioned. It took me a lot of research and playing around with camera and monitor settings, but I got my way. I'm a techie and I…

Too little time was invested.

First impression: Well packaged, everything works fine. A VERY versatile unit. Outstanding brightness. Monitor with this option. I gave 4 stars because I have problems with the camera (Nikon Z50). When I turn it on everything works fine until I hit the record button and then almost every time (I think once it worked properly) the screen goes black and says "no picture available". Of course I haven't had much time to play around with it, so it might be a menu/setup issue that I haven't fixed…

Best EASY 7 inch monitor available

I have used many monitors including products from SmallHD, Atomos and others. This particular monitor offers features not found in other monitors in this price range. First, let's talk about the build quality. It's made from polycarbonate plastic, so it's lightweight, meaning this 7-inch monitor can be attached to a camera like the A73 without adding a ton of unnecessary weight. It is also suitable for hangers and shoulder mounts. There are plenty of physical buttons, including some…

The brightness is insane!

Basically I wanted this monitor to be able to be used for framing/exposure while filming myself with the Sony A7III. My camera doesn't have a folding screen, so it's difficult to check focus when shooting and composing. The touchscreen responds very well. Reminds me of my iPhone. The ability to swipe up from the bottom to activate the menu is also a handy feature. This monitor is much sharper than the back of my camera and uses a 4k input for display. The A7III is notorious for not having the…

Pros
  • 2200 cd/m² Super Bright --- The 1920 x 1200 native resolution screen displays crisp and accurate colors. The brightness of 2200 nits is almost 4 times brighter than traditional field monitors. Can be viewed in strong sunlight and outdoors without a sunshade.

Works very well as a teleprompter monitor

I only have room for a 7 inch teleprompter to look at my friend when I'm on zoom or skype. The C7's touchscreen is useful for scaling settings. (There's a huge 77-inch monitor at the top, but it's nice to be able to look directly at the person you're talking to.) I use the very bright C7 monitor to focus my attention on the person I'm with speak. Compared to the 300 nit 7 inch monitor I use as a side talent camera, the C7 matches that at 20% backlight, even through a 30% reflective teleprompter

Pros
  • Large touch screen --- 7 inch touch screen With a simple gesture and swipe, you can access the full menu, all waveforms, focus, backlight dimming, etc. Freely zoom and drag and drop images with your fingers.

A bright monitor that can stay on your rig for all lighting conditions

Significantly, this monitor doesn't even come with a sunshade. Even in direct sunlight (see photo) - you won't need it! Much brighter than the camera screen. Once you've used an ultra-bright monitor like this, it's difficult to go back to anything else. Andycine C7 has some unique features that we particularly like. The monitor comes with one NP battery (you can never have too many!). There's a handy photo sensor on the top that lets you set the backlight to auto-brightness, so you don't have…

Pros
  • Comfortable design. The replaceable dual battery plate using Sony L-series batteries ensures consistent performance. You can always find comfortable viewing angles with the L-Bracket. --- 360 pan and 180 tilt angles. 8V DC output to power your cameras via DC coupler (optional) handy for time-lapse and long-time recording
