So far I love that the base has only tested them for a few hours, but the fans aren't loud as some are complaining and it looks like they are the ps4 is way cooler than the fans seem to be about half to a quarter the size of a computer fan, based on your computer I'd like to see one more fan, although I think it could improve cooling significantly.

At this price point I have no complaints. I've had people asking how much it costs and when I told them they were very surprised. It's amazing quality and charges two controllers at the same time very quickly. Received this along with a new PS4 as a gift for my partner. It can be a little clunky, so I wanted to make sure it had something to hold on to the PS4 and did the job. Have had us for almost 3 months with no problems. It's always on and connected.

I am very disappointed with this purchase, not only is it noisy but it doesn't charge the controllers. The device is powered by the PS4 and takes up one of two precious USB ports on the PS4. One of these USB ports is for my external hard drive that stores these large headers. Another USB for this waste of money. I bought this for my refurbished Ps4 because it was clear the internal fan was running too hard and would overheat if I didn't point the box fan at it. I put my ps4 on this stand and it seemed to do the job. However, I soon found that the games wouldn't run - I kept saying "Error: Disc could not be read". Stand meets expectations in its price range. Two working charge controllers and fans are built into the vertical stand. Did I notice a change in performance? Basically I bought this to increase the capacity of my USB as I used 1 charge controller slot, 1 headphone slot and also need 1 external hard drive. My standard original PS4 fits well in the hole, remember the controllers don't need to have a rubber sleeve to fit the charging dock. As for the fans, I see them loud in many reviews, but my unit is less than 5ft from me on my gaming desk and I don't notice any irritation, especially since I'm wearing a headset.
