I am very disappointed with this purchase, not only is it noisy but it doesn't charge the controllers. The device is powered by the PS4 and takes up one of two precious USB ports on the PS4. One of these USB ports is for my external hard drive that stores these large headers. Another USB for this waste of money. If I could connect my external hard drive to the fan's USB ports that would be great, but these ports cannot transfer data or charge as this device draws power from the PS4's USB port. This brings me to controller charging pads which should charge your controllers conveniently. They do not do anything! Like the USB expansion ports on the fan, they do not work. Now that the fan and hard drive are connected, you don't have a free USB port to charge the controllers. Definitely not an advertised item. I will not buy again, not recommended.
