A bright monitor that can stay on your rig for all lighting conditions

Significantly, this monitor doesn't even come with a sunshade. Even in direct sunlight (see photo) - you won't need it! Much brighter than the camera screen. Once you've used an ultra-bright monitor like this, it's difficult to go back to anything else. Andycine C7 has some unique features that we particularly like. The monitor comes with one NP battery (you can never have too many!). There's a handy photo sensor on the top that lets you set the backlight to auto-brightness, so you don't have to change the setting if you're going indoors and out a lot. The pixel-to-pixel zoom function is also very handy for cropping a 4K image sent from your camera to check focus. You also get 1/4-20 mounting threads on three sides for a variety of mounting options. This touchscreen is also well thought out. You can change the backlight brightness or volume by simply swiping them up or down on either side of the screen. And customize menu options with a touch faster than a few keystrokes (but that option is available, too). For an affordable option, the setup looks pretty snazzy too.

Pros
  • Comfortable design. The replaceable dual battery plate using Sony L-series batteries ensures consistent performance. You can always find comfortable viewing angles with the L-Bracket. --- 360 pan and 180 tilt angles. 8V DC output to power your cameras via DC coupler (optional) handy for time-lapse and long-time recording
Cons
  • Factor Set

The Andycine works perfectly with my Canon XA55 camcorder and GoPro Hero 9
