Great monitor, bad power supply

I give the monitor itself 5 stars. Nice picture, great features, thoughtful menu. I have monitors that cost many times more and this monitor is not far behind. The power supply, on the other hand, is not very good and I give it 1 star. If I run the monitor at over 50% brightness for a few minutes, the power supply gets very hot and often fails. This allows me to adjust my recordings and then dim the screen by up to 5% while recording. Not perfect. I need to find the best source and that will be my DSLR monitor.
