I have used several types of wine coolers to keep wine chilled while sipping it on the patio. This one works better for longer than any I've used before. I use chilled water with ice cubes to allow the wine bottle to reach the bottom of the canister. In the time that we drink a bottle of wine in twos or threes, the ice chips do not melt completely, and the water is still cold at the end. My daughter, my husband and I are very happy that the wine stays cool.
