I bought these boots as indoor boots to use mainly at night in bed after fusion surgery. It's light, comfortable, has an airbox adjustment that works well and holds up well. Remember he can't move at the ankle...it's tight. This is perfect for things where you don't need ankle movement and makes it even more economical. Definitely my best post-op purchase and I'm a lot more comfortable in bed than most!
