Reasons for GTX 960 driver crashing

I bought this USB card to use with an old Oculus Rift headset (my motherboard has USB 3.0 ports but it missing controller bandwidth between all my USB devices + sensors). Oculus app, kept switching some sensors or headsets to USB 2.0). Out of the box it was very easy plug and play in Windows 10 version 20H2. I didn't have to change the BIOS settings for data transfer, and I had no shutdown issues. In general everything works fine. The problem arose by accident. Even with no USB devices connected, the card didn't work well with my GTX 960, where the display driver would hang and only recover after a hard computer reboot (my motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-150M-D3H rev1). I have tested this behavior and can confirm that there were no more crashes after removing the card. All bios and drivers have also been updated. I've come to the conclusion that this card is having power or PCIE communication issues. Some people seem to have had very good experiences with this card, but I would like to warn you that there may be compatibility issues with your PC setup. As for me, I will try the Oculus recommended Inateck card.
