We got this because we travel a lot and who doesn't like working with two screens! Having a 17 inch on the go is great! Connection via USBC which is in our new laptop. The screen looks better than the screen on our Asus laptop. Just plug in and turn on. The monitor itself rests on a built-in stand, similar to that used for the iPad. Hope they last many years. The screen is bright and bright and fits into our travel backpack. Glad I got this before our recent summer holiday trip, 2 screens for office work is a must at the moment!
