One of the mounts was very tight so I literally had to lower it when I put the soundbar's cylindrical mount in. I ended up filling out that side just so I could make it fit smoothly like the other side. Even after it was installed, the unit still had a bit of flex, so I ended up installing an L-bracket under the soundbar to keep it level and without sagging. A NOTICE. The unit is attached to a wooden structure surrounding the chimney under the flat stand that my TV sits on. Did these brackets solve my problem with broken plastic brackets for my compatible Visio soundbar? Of course. was it perfect No, but to a certain extent it worked.
