Review on ๐Ÿฅค Stay Hydrated and Cool with Mothybot Insulated Hydration Backpack โ€“ Perfect for Running, Cycling, and Camping by Darrell Shreves

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Bonus Water Pack

I work 8-10 hour days on the road working with clients and I needed something to beat the midwest summer heat. I browsed for a while and settled on Mothybot. It's very light and the straps are comfortable. A clip that keeps the straw close to your face is useful when you need to be semi-hands-free. After a month of use, I'll happily leave a review: TLDR: Buy for day trips or quick bike rides, but carry extra ice packs for more than a few hours. Not fully insulated PROS:โ•šGreat storage space. Whether it's hiking, biking or just enjoying the weather, this backpack has enough space for everything you need. The waist straps have hip pockets to store some cash or maybe a knife. They are not big enough for phones, but they fit in extra pockets. There is a connector for the headphone cable in the box. Since I'm out with my phone and iPad, I keep a 20,000 battery in the trunk of my backpack and let the cord run like a straw down the trail. It definitely makes it easier to get through the day when you don't have to look for a way to charge your devices. โ•š The bubble opening is big enough that you can fill it with huge chunks of ice and let it melt all day. to keep a cool drink on the tap. Two big DISADVANTAGES: 1) The compartment where the bladder is kept is POOR insulated. There is a very thin layer of insulation on the front and back of the compartment, but the sides and bottom are not covered with material. You are lucky enough to be able to hold the temperature for around 2-3 hours without lots of cold compresses. Pocket on the front of the hydration bladder and 2 frozen water bottles on each side. 2) A capacity of 2 liters is not quite right. 2 liters of water is about 67 ounces. The average bottle of water in North America is 16.9 ounces so I should be able to pour nearly 4 full bottles. If you stand upright like wearing it, your bladder can only hold 3 bottles of water. If you take it out of the packaging, place it on a flat surface and gently fill your bladder, you could get very close to a full 2 liters, but "nobody has time for that"
